Lunch & Learn session at Companial. I attended Beata’s training on Time Management, and it was surprisingly engaging. She delivered a lot of good tips and invited all of us to reflect on how valuable time is and how little of it we dedicate to what really matters to us. She was able to stimulate our reflection through entertaining exercises, good examples and insightful ideas. Her positivity and energy set the tone of the training and made it much more enjoyable than usual business development sessions.

The "Intercultural Communication" training is incredibly valuable for international and intercultural teams. It highlighted that, despite our diverse backgrounds, we all face similar challenges, and adapting to new environments requires strong emotional intelligence and communication skills. "Intercultural Bridging concept and how to apply it through effective communication" - training. This training gives you basic understanding of culture and culture differences. It triggers self- reflection on one's own culture roots as well as cross cultural communication challenges. It definetly broadens the perspective on other's culture due to diverse group of participants. Beata was well prepared and knowledgeable and most importantly created friendly environment during the session. I totally loved "country game"- great ice-braking exercise.

I am very happy I was part of Intercultural bridging training program! Beata van Velzen showed the value of crossing bridges and inclusive collaboration through effective communication. Our Operations & Client Success team recently participated in a unique team-building session, the "30 days" game, designed to test decision-making under pressure — and it turned out to be one of the most impactful and fun experiences we’ve had. The challenge? Save a shipyard from bankruptcy. Through an interactive game, we navigated 30 days 30 minutes with change management activities, making critical decisions — from restructuring and financial planning to managing people and resources — all while steering the company toward profitability in the midst of an economic downturn. It was engaging, challenging, and at times even competitive, but it gave us deep insight into how we operate as a team when faced with uncertainty. Every choice mattered: who to keep, what to change, and how to stay aligned as a team. Not only did we ‘save’ the shipyard, but we also walked away more connected, more self-aware, and even more confident in our ability to make tough decisions together. This exercise reflected the same mindset that helped us achieve profitability at Settly in real life — a testament to the incredible team we are. Highly recommend!
